Long-term Substitute – Grade 7-Critical Literacy, Templeton Middle School, November 25 – December 18, 2019

Qualifications: Certification by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction in Regular Education; and such alternatives to the qualifications as the Board of Education finds appropriate and acceptable.

Position Goal: The Hamilton School District is looking for an 7th grade critical literacy/reading long-term substitute teacher at Templeton Middle School.  Interested applicants will be enthusiastic, positive, team oriented and self-motivated with the ability to plan, create and implement differentiated lessons. Candidates must possess knowledge of literacy/reading curriculums. Candidates should possess skills to effectively integrate technology into classroom instruction. This position is responsible for the delivery of a challenging, relevant, and engaging curriculum to support student learning.  Co-curricular coaching and advising opportunities may be available.

Substitute Teacher

The Hamilton School District is currently seeking Substitute Teachers.

Long-term Substitute – School Psychologist, Lannon & Maple Avenue Elementary Schools, August – October 2019

Qualifications: Certification by the Wisconsin Department of Instruction as a school psychologist; RTI experience required; and such alternatives to the qualifications as the Board of Education finds appropriate and acceptable.

Position Goal: Serve on academic, social emotional, and behavioral intervention teams at the building level; serve on building and district Response to Intervention and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports committee; conduct student assessments; case manage IEP teams; assist special education team with executive functioning instruction and intervention for students with disabilities; provide consultation services and psychological interventions; keep abreast of new developments in the areas of school psychology, special education and mental health; and perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor of Special Services/building principal.
