To apply for a certified staff position:

  1. Prepare files to be uploaded on the online application form via WECAN. Required files include transcripts, license and letter(s) of reference.

Special Education Teacher, Maple Avenue Elementary School, 2020-21 School Year

Position Goal: The selected candidate must have excellent communication and collaboration skills to assist students with academic, social, emotional, behavioral, and communicative delays to reach their full potential in both inclusive and special education settings.  The selected candidate also should have experience developing behavior intervention plans, annual goals, and accommodations to help students meet their goals and to participate with their peers to the fullest extent possible.  The selected candidate should also have a strong background in assessment including a working knowledge of the SCERTS model.  CPI Training and previous experience working with students with disabilities at the elementary level is preferred, but not required.

Qualifications: Certification by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction as a Cross-categorical (1801) teacher; and such alternatives to the qualifications as the Board of Education finds appropriate and acceptable.

Business Education Teacher, Hamilton High School, 2020-21 School Year

Position Goal: To help students learn subject matter and skills that will contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible men and women to strive for assuring maximum achievement for each child.  Classes are taught in a block schedule and may comprise of Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Personal Finance, and an opportunity to advise the school store and assist with DECA.

Qualifications: Certification by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction in Business Education (1250), & Business and Office Vocational (1281), Economics (1710) preferred; and such alternatives to the qualifications as the Board of Education finds appropriate and acceptable.
