Your child will:

Your child will:

Your child will explore the the state of Wisconsin through inquiry and the four lenses of geography, economy, civics or government, and history:
- Learn about Wisconsin’s geography, history and people including Native Americans, explorers and immigrants
- Compare our state to other states and other regions of the world
- Investigate the impact of nature and man on Wisconsin’s natural resources
- Research people and events that are part of Wisconsin’s past and present
- Identify and describe the State’s social, economic and governmental institutions
- Develop an appreciation of the unique cultural and environmental heritage of Wisconsin

Fitness education
Your child will:

Classroom guidance
Students participate in classroom guidance activities facilitated by a school counselor. Each school provides a developmental guidance curriculum that encompasses dealing with feelings, peer relationships, decision making, protective behaviors and careers. Skills taught will assist each child in his or her academic, emotional and social development. This, in turn, will help ensure success in school, at home and in the community.
Social and emotional learning
