Hamilton student receives President’s Volunteer Service Award

Hamilton High School sophomore Amelia Weidemann from Menomonee Falls received the President’s Volunteer Service Award in recognition of her exemplary volunteer service. The award recognizes Americans of all ages who have volunteered significant time to serve their community and country. It is granted by The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards on behalf of the President’s Council on Service and Civic Participation.American flag

Weidemann earned the recognition by volunteering at Luther Manor, a local senior life plan community, where she dedicated 121 hours since March 2015 providing residents with a variety of personal services. She is also an active member of Hamilton Student Council.
