The Hamilton High School Concert Choir will participate Nov. 12 in the Lakeside Choral Festival at Carthage College in Kenosha. The Hamilton ensemble has participated in the festival before and benefitted greatly from the experience, according to Hamilton Choral Director Marilynn Spiess.
Weston Noble, a world-renowned director, and Dr. Garcia-Novelli, a professor at Carthage, have worked with the choir in the past.
“The Lakeside Choral Festival is an excellent opportunity for the Hamilton Concert Choir to perform, gather feedback from other choral directors, and evaluate other performances,” Spiess said.
The Hamilton choir will sing at 9:40 a.m. in the Carthage Recital Hall near Erhler Chapel. Parents and community are welcome to attend this unique event to support the choir.
