Get ready for Tigers, Elvis, Music Man, AddamsFamily at the Hamilton Fine Arts Center

The 2014-15 performing arts season continues to offer unique entertainment for all tastes at the Hamilton Fine Arts Center (HFAC).

 

Hamilton High School presents “The Addams Family” musical – Feb. 12 -14 at 7 p.m. and Feb 15 at 2 p.m.

“The Addams Family” musical features an original story, and it’s every father’s nightmare. Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family—a man her parents have never met. Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before—keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s ‘normal’ boyfriend and his parents. General seating tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for seniors and students.

 

Tony Rocker presents, “One Night With You,” An Elvis tribute– March 7 at 7 p.m.

Award-winning Elvis tribute artist, Tony Rocker, and his band, The Comeback Special, invite you to a special “One Night With You.” Wearing exact replicas of the jumpsuits worn by Elvis and performing the hit songs authentic to how Elvis sang, you’ll enjoy every moment of this special show. Join us for a meet-and-greet with autograph signing following the show. Reserved seating tickets are $25. Add $5 for tickets purchased at the door.

 

Templeton Middle School presents, “The Music Man, Jr.”– April 16 at 7 p.m.

“The Music Man, Jr.” is a youth adaptation of the American classic musical that follows a fast-talking traveling salesman, Harold Hill, as he cons the people of River City, Iowa, into buying instruments and uniforms, despite the fact that he doesn’t know a trombone from a treble clef. Featuring favorite songs such as “76 Trombones,” “The Wells Fargo Wagon” and “Goodnight, My Someone,” this show is sure to be a treat for the entire family. The cast of more than 100 eighth grade students is under the direction of music teacher Jaye Mier. General seating tickets are $5. Children 5 years and younger are free.

 

Jeremy Allen’s Grand Illusions – April 18 at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.
Jeremy Allen and his Royal White Tigers have astonished people around the world. Join Jeremy as he performs spellbinding illusions with LIVE tigers on the Hamilton Fine Arts Center stage. Death-defying escapes and awesome illusions will keep you on the edge of your seat. You might even be chosen to assist in the show! All VIP tickets can take a photo onstage with the tiger following the show. Reserved seating tickets are $30 for adults, $20 for students (13-18 years) and free for each child under 12 years with a paid adult ticket. VIP tickets are $50 and guarantee seating within the first six rows, a meet-and-greet with Jeremy Allen and a photo on stage with the tiger following the show. Add $5 for all tickets obtained at the door.
