The Foundation
The Hamilton Education Foundation celebrates 20 years of contributions to students and staff in the Hamilton School District. The foundation is a nonprofit corporation established in 1991 by Hamilton School District friends and supporters to generate financial support and other resources to enhance and enrich the educational opportunities of students in the district.
Since the Hamilton Education Foundation formed in June, 1991, it has contributed more than $1 million to the Hamilton School District community for various education programs.

Foundation Mission
The Hamilton Education Foundation, Inc. has held annual fund raisers since 1991. Because of the generous backing and support of individuals and businesses, we have supported enthusiastic projects, which offer exciting opportunities for Hamilton School District students.
Our mission is to:
- Promote student learning development
- Encourage business assistance, community support and school partnerships
- Encourage creativity and excellence among employees
The Foundation Organization
The Foundation is governed by a volunteer Board of Trustees, which is dedicated to the goal of educational excellence. The Board of Trustees operates independently from the Hamilton School Board.
Responsibilities of the Foundation Board include developing guidelines for project funding, selecting projects and raising and dispersing funds for programs or projects.
