Students inducted into National Honor Society PDF Print

The Hamilton High School Chapter of the National Honor Society (NHS) inducted 40 juniors and seniors Oct. 22 at a ceremony in the Hamilton Fine Arts Center.

NHS membership is based on scholarship, leadership, service and character. Students must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 and meet standards of co-curricular activities, community activities, community service and leadership requirements. In addition, inductees must provide four letters of recommendation from teachers and community members, attesting to their outstanding character and demonstrated leadership. Students inducted were:

Members of the 2007-08 Hamilton NHS Executive Board are Danielle Schoner, president; Angela Zeng, vice president; Bethany Canales, secretary; Samantha Runingen, treasurer; Michelle Zapf, historian; Lindsey Burleson, parliamentarian; and Katie Doyle, public relations officer. World languages teacher Robin Tessereau is the faculty advisor.
