Activities include:
  • Oct. 22 – Students will wear red and white to kick off the week. They will learn about the history of Red Ribbon Week, and be encouraged to do healthy activities with their families such as bike riding, walking or playing sports. Red Ribbon stickers and pencils with the “Too Smart to Start” theme will be handed out.
  • Oct. 23 - “Saying No to Drugs is No Sweat!” – Students will wear sweatshirts, sweatpants or wind breaker outfits.
  • Oct. 24 – Healthy Choices Day – Students will eat a healthy lunch at school and be encouraged to get some physical exercise. In addition, magician-illusionist Kirk Patrick will present an entertaining, anti-drug performance for students in grades K-2 at 1:10 p.m. and for students in grades 3-5 at 2:15 p.m. Patrick’s performance is sponsored by Woodside’s Home and School.
