Hamilton High School freshman William Steiner won third place in the Wisconsin Stock Market Simulation Essay Contest. Steiner and members of Brenda Wangen’s Personal Finance class participated in the Stock Market Simulation Contest, which was sponsored by EconomicsWisconsin, the Wisconsin Council on Economic Education. Students were able to enter the essay contest by writing about the three most important lessons they learned from their participation in the Stock Market Simulation. Essays were judged on content, organization, spelling and grammar and were not to exceed 500 words.

Steiner received his certificate and award May 31 at the EconomicsWisconsin banquet.
