Wednesday, February 22, 2006 6:00 pm
The Hamilton Education Foundation (HEF) will celebrate its 13th annual Dinner-Auction fundraiser on March 24 beginning at 5 p.m. at Davian’s Banquet and Conference Center, 16300 W. Silver Spring Dr., Menomonee Falls.

Besides live and silent auctions, the evening will feature The Wheel of Cards, Around the World Packages, Seasons Baskets, Body Bingo, 50/50 Raffle, Splish/Splash, Table of the Evening, Treasure Chest Chances, a Guys’ Corner and the Grand Raffle.

In keeping with the theme “The Sky’s the Limit”, bids for auction items and events include flying lessons, a handcrafted china cabinet, an autographed Brett Favre “Then and Now” picture, a Hamilton Chargers tailgate party, a Silver Spring Country Club Golf and Champagne Brunch package and, once again, the ever-popular dinner at the home of Hamilton Superintendent Kathleen Cooke.

This year, the first prize winner of the Grand Raffle will be awarded a 42” Sony Plasma TV. Second prize is a pair of one-carat diamond earrings, and third prize, a $500 gift certificate for the Wilderness Water Park and Resort in Wisconsin Dells. Ticket prices are one for $5, three for $10 or 10 for $20. Ticket holders need not be present to win.

In addition to being available at all Hamilton district school offices and from HEF trustees, the following area businesses are selling raffle tickets:
  • Associated Bank - Sussex, Lannon, Silver Spring, Pewaukee branches;
  • M & I Bank, US Bank, Matt’s Piggly Wiggly - in Sussex;
  • Majdecki’s Sentry - in Menomonee Falls.
