The Hamilton High School Charger Marching Band completed a successful competitive marching season recently at the Wisconsin State Marching Band Championships at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. The band took a big step forward this year and received its highest score in three years of competition. The Hamilton band posted a score of 63.95 and was awarded a second division plaque. In previous competitions, the Charger band took second place at the Cudahy High School Invitational in class AAA and fourth place in the Greendale High School Preview of Champions.

Hamilton’s show this year featured the music of Walt Disney’s “Fantasia 2000” and included work by Beethoven, Stravinsky and “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice.”
